Prior Automotive Products was founded in 1951 by Fred Prior, one of the pioneers of the auto parts industry. With a vision for providing high-quality remanufactured components, Fred established the company in Dallas, Texas, on a small plot of land that would eventually grow into our modern manufacturing facility.
In the early days, Prior Automotive focused primarily on remanufacturing power brake boosters for a limited range of vehicles. As the automotive industry evolved, so did we—expanding our product lines, improving our processes, and building a reputation for unmatched quality and reliability.
